Great and unique reflections.
I am making a mental list of images to look for on our next camping trip. I don't think I will see anything quite like this in the redwoods ;>)

I never knew that Atomium existed until I saw you photographs Kay. It must be quite a landmark and tourist attraction in Brussels I guess. Good to see you are back to blogging considering your hectic but enjoyable travels.

Wow! This must have been amazing to see in person.

I have never seen these balls in my life, lol ! First time was in 1959, just after the world exhibition. Last time I was with you and next time (in August) I will show it to Claudie from France who will spend a week with us in Waterloo. I have been in April at her place in the South of France remember ?
For the moment there are a lot of shows going on under the Atomium !

Wow, that's big! Did you go inside? CAN you go inside? Great reflections, too!

I almost went to see this structure last fall but I went to Bruges instead. Your photos make me want to see it in person.

Ah, I should have read it in its entirety as I was thinking I've never seen anything like this in Alberta! Ha, jokes on me.

Well, it certainly looks better than when I saw it last: it was all dirty and grimy. I had better head over to Brussels soon to take a great photo!

Arija said...

Oh, well spotted! Once we are aware of them, there are reflections in the oddest places.

Most unique place for hunting reflections!
But this place looks a bit scary for someone with claustrophobia.

Your pictures of the Atomium are very good. It encourged me to immediately check the link and find fascinating information about this unique structure..."a 165 billion times scale model of the iron crystal", says Wikipedia.

Nice picture, Kay. Though it's been many years since I saw Brussels, you picture made me vividly remimber it.

I keep telling my husband we have to go back to all the place we visited before I got my "good" camera so I can retake the pictures. Unfortunately, he's more in the "bucket list" frame of mind! ;) Honey

Now that is a futuristic place to look for reflections, Kay! Yet you were firmly planted in the present, enjoying your time with Gattina. Fabulous!
