I've never been to Scotsdale, but a friend who lived there for some years told me it was a very upscale neighbourhood. Your photos confirm it. The white gazebo with the white flowers is sure trendy... and pretty. Dick is looking fit as a fiddle!

Just looking at the shot of the gazebo you would not think of Scottsdale, AZ! So pretty!

I especially love the first shot. I wish I had a gazebo in my garden.

One thing's for sure about Arizona sunshine: It produces crisp shadows!

TALKING SHADOWS?

Imagine a shadow could talk
In whisper or rumble or squawk;
Just what would it say
To make you go, “Hey!
You’re just a chip off the old block!”?

Beautiful shadows! I always think of Arizona as hot and dry, but you made it look very inviting and cool!

In a hot place such as the desert in AZ, the littlest bit of shadow may indicate that shade is nearby - in the dry heat, the littlest sun block from trees and the gazebo is a treat. We can thus cool down and continue in our travels!

What beautiful shots, with wonderful shadows.

Sorry I haven't visited you in a while, the winter weather here has left me a little unmotivated.

Have a great weekend.

your shadows look cooling - I'm betting that it's pretty darn hot there right about now. here in the Midwest we're in the first day of a HEAT wave predicted to last most of the coming week. I hope it's cooler where you are, and that you're having a lovely weekend Kay.

Everything looks so lush for it being a desert!
