I hadn't realized there were so many varieties. I like the one from Costa Rica. Big claws!

Oh they are so exotic-looking, Kay! I wonder what Lindy would say if she came in contact with one? Are you off on a boat trip? Do tell? Blessings and hugs Jo

They are so ugly, yet endearing at the same time xxx

Iguanas look to live in the most idyllic places. Fascinating creatures.

I love Iguanas! I had a 4 foot one for a pet when I lived in Colorado years ago... I gave her to my brother when I moved to Arizona... I even have an Iguana Tattoo. Great shots!

I admit to being envious of this fine collection of photos, having a particular fondness for lizards of all sorts. How wonderful to see the Galapogos iguanas...that's an environment I would love to experience myself.

Have a wonderful trip, Kay, and hopefully bring lots of pictures back for us to enjoy vicariously!

Be well and stay safe...:)

I like the Costa rica one.

In Borneo, Mum used to trap them when they come and steal our ducks. We ate them of course, except grandpa, he was scared of snakes, we call them 4 legged snakes.

Iguanas are great to watch. We saw them in Panama and in Galapagos.
